Ten-Week Program • 20 Sessions
Tuesday Teen Session: 6:00 to 8:30 p.m.
Thursday Teen and Parent Skills Group: 6:00 to 8:30 p.m.
Adolescent DBT Skills Training Groups are for teens between the ages of 13-15 or 15-19 who experience chronic emotional difficulties and/or have difficulty regulating their emotions. Primary goals of the group are to decrease self-
destructive behaviors, increase effective coping skills, and create a sense of
behavioral and emotional stability for the adolescent and his/her family.
Core topics include emotional regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, distress
tolerance, mindfulness and walking the middle path.
A parent/guardian is required to attend the weekly Thursday night group.
